After recording two demos Cereal decided to opt for a more professional approach for their third recording. And it pays off. The sound of this EP is fuzzy and raw without getting too blurry. Cereal’s style is best described as Stoner Rock with an alternative edge. Riff-based but noisy as well. The vocals are a little monotone.

There are no real melodies and that’s a pity. The length of the songs is ok though. Many bands in this genre think a song should last five to six minutes. Cereal proves there’s no need for that. Stoner Rock can be to the point as well. If they come up with some better melodies they should be able to score a record deal.
