In 1987 Nihilist was formed. After three demos they changed their name into Entombed, got signed by Earache and wrote metal history when their debut Left Hand Path was released. They changed from a pure Death Metgoal act to a true Rock ‘n’ Roll machine. Death ‘n’ Roll? Garage Death? Whatever. They’ve been around for 15 years and to celebrate this they’ve released a double CD with all the cover songs the band has ever recorded. As with many legendary bands they’ve been influenced by many different types of music. | |
Repulsion, Twisted Sister, Bob Dylan, Jerry’s Kids, The Dwarves and of course bands like Motörhead, Black Sabbath and Kiss. Every song is played in the classic Entombed style. Rock ‘n’ Roll cannot get any heavier than this. This album is a must for every Entombed fan. For anyone who likes stomping and heavy Rock ‘n’ Roll it offers a fine collection of cover songs.
