Ignite is a part of the hardcore community for many years now, and here they come up with a new peace of some old school hardcore. The CD gives us a lot of old Ignite elements mixed up with some new elements: I really wonder how many kids were waiting for this new album because Ignite took their time before they produced this new album. In the mean time they signed to TVT Records and this is it this is their first effort for their new label. Probably, there are a lot of kids blaming Ignite of having sold out, though when I have my thought about it I think Ignite is still loyal with their roots. | |
I can still find their friendly propaganda about environment issues in their CD booklet and musically they stayed basically the same they gave us where we asked for. Maybe a small majority of the Ignite fans didn’t asked for the same music style with more attention for the melodic parts, but I think they brought out another Ignite release with some old school hardcore we’re used to from these guys. I wonder how long Ignite can hold this style of bringing out music without losing a lot of fans. (Rose) |
