For those people who missed their recent gig at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium: this is your chance to make up for your ‘huge’ mistake. The first thing I did when I got home, after seeing this performance, was listening to Cleansing. Prong is back and how! After an absence of almost 6 years, Tommy Victor & co. return with a new live album.

With a stunning mix of metal, hardcore and techno, Prong paved the way for a lot of popular metal bands such as KoRn, Static-X etc. A lot of youngsters don’t know Prong nowadays, but maybe the tide will change. Bassist Brian Perry, drummer Dan Laudo and guitarist Monte Pittman of Madonna fame accompany vocalist Tommy Victor on his road to renewed success.

100% Live is a (greatest hits) live album released by Locomotive Music.

All your favorite Prong songs are featured on this killer album: “Controller”, “Beg To Differ” and my live favorite “Snap Your Fingers… Snap Your Neck”. Also featured is a new song called “Initiation” which was co-written by Pat Lachman (Halford, Diesel Machine). The sound quality of these songs is great, so you can turn up the volume to the max and even let your neighbors enjoy this live-experience.

Prong proves with this record that they were and still are one of the best live bands around and they can easily beat all of their copycats. Prong will be back in Europe for a bunch of live shows in November, so check them out if you can. A new studio album will also hit the stores in the spring of 2003. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you!
