“The Art Of Creating Confusing Spirits” is a colourful palette of melancholic emotional music. From opener ‘Velocity’ to the last song ‘The Converge Of Being Absent’ the band DIORAMA create a perfect moment of (painful?) peace. Original member Torben Wendt is accompanied by new band members Felix Mark (keyboard and background vocals) and Bernard Le Sigue (bass and vocals). The end result is that DIORAMA sound relaxed, self-confident and more complete.

The mix of danceable songs (like ‘Howland Road’) in combination with quiet, dragging songs (like ‘Kiss Of Knowledge’ and ‘Staring’, for instance) make “The Art…” a perfect album for listening at home as well for the dance floor. Have to admit that DIORAMA is definitely flying under the wings of Diary Of Dreams; the voice and music start to sound more and more like this band. Still, a great emotional album to listen to…
