I’ve got a mixed feeling about remixes. There are two ways in which you can do a remix. You can either do a great job (take any song on “Re-Laborat"), or you can fuck a song completely up as bands like Limp Bizkit or Korn tend to do as a `bonus` on a single-release. After having heard the debut of Polish Fading Colours, it is with great regret that I have to place this re-released EP in the latter category. The music of FC just doesn’t seem to fit properly in these new jackets. Fading Colours create a 9-track EP here, with 6 remixes, 2 radio edits and 1 unreleased demo. Unfortunately, the warm gothic sound of the original versions just doesn`t fit the remixes.

FC simple isn`t a band that should be remixed. The biography is proud to mention the fact that the remixes are done by the most famous DJ`s in the East-European scene. Weel, talent wasted I guess. I caught myself several times programming the last three tracks (the radio versions) and not nearly paying as much attention to the remixes. The `bonus` on this release is a previously unreleased track; "Wiosna", which is also the best song of this release. Going towards a bit of electro, with Polish vocals, it’s the proper ending for a not so perfect album.
