Before I start telling you about this CD, I must underline that it is a demo. This material has not been professionally recorded, but was recorded live during rehearsals. I think I don’t need to emphasize that it does not sound too professional. It would fit better on the demo section that will come on the REZ site in the future. This CD contains ten songs, among which an intro, an outro and two covers: ‘Execute Them All’ by Unleashed and ‘Postmortem’ by Slayer. The six remaining thrashy death songs are not really convincing, maybe because the vocals are uninteresting, or because the drums do not fit all the time. Although the bass drum does some very interesting things every now and then, it sometimes sounds a bit messy.

The guitarists also should practice a lot, before they play any more solos. The ones on this CD are (I’ll try to say it friendly) not my favourites. But before I go on criticizing, I must not forget that it is their first demo. I listen to this demo as if it is a real album, but it isn’t. Therefore I will finish with a positive statement. The songs are full of energy; they have a nice beat and are perfect for having a nice big pit. Land Of Anger are currently writing more songs and maybe we will hear of them again.
