The band’s name Rollerball reminds me of a sci-fi cult movie at first. After listening to this album, I realize that not only Vikings know how to produce some heavy stoner. This bunch from kangaroo country do also. This album is a combination of two former albums with some added songs; a re-release for the European market I assume. A variety of heavy driving, catchy riffs, spacey psychedelics, and even a laid-back acoustic song. Even the instrumental songs can keep the tension, and the band has succeeded in finding the right length for their songs, which seems to be a big problem with a lot of bands in this genre (including Cor’s own - ed.

;). Due to the fact that this album is a compilation, the production of the songs varies. Some songs are much more transparent with a clear production, while others are very massive, and do no right to the drum and bass parts. Nevertheless, the aforementioned variety and perfect feeling for timing and duration of songs make this album a joy to listen to. Last but not least, the use of wah, phasor, flanger, and other effects can get this album much appreciation from guitar-orientated listeners.
