Aborym is a black metal band with quite a history. They were founded back in 1992 by bass player/vocalist Malfeitor Fabban and ex drummer/guitarist Mental Siege. Until now the band had released one demo (Damned Souls) and two full lengths, (Kali Yuga Bizarre `99 and Fire Walk With Us `01). With No Human Intervention is Aborym’s third release and the first to be released by the also Italian label Code 666. The kind of black metal Aborym plays is hard to describe and you probably either love it or hate it. The first things I noticed are the great guitar solo parts and the riffs. These guys sure know how to play. By combining fast and intense black metal parts with more melodic and hallucinating pieces they have created their own sound, especially combined with the industrial sounding drum computer and keys. Besides that, Aborym added several industrial samples that sometimes sound like a techno house beat, which gives this release an unexpected touch.

Vocally Mr. Atilla Csihar treats us on evil black metal howling with sometimes a deeper death grunt. One thing is for sure. They don’t hesitate to experiment, they just do it. On this release Aborym had the privilege to work with people as: Nattefrost (Carpethian Forest), Irrumator (Anaal Nathrakh), Matt Jerman (Void/OCD), Sasrof (Diabolicum), Bard “Faust” Eithun (ex-Emperor, Dissection). They all dedicated something, varying from spoken word passages to soundscapes and drum programming and from the album concept to the soundtrack of the CDR part which is certainly worthwhile to check out. Quite some guest appearances on this release. With No Human Intervention has become a black metal release full of experiment. My advice: listen before buying!
