I’ll keep it short. The new Stratovarius will not disappoint you. All the necessary elements are there; from lightning-fast guitars, to near vocals only (okay, some strings in the background) ballads, and everything in between. The choirs are back too, only to make place for a ripping riff, combined with more strings and so on.

Nearly no rest here; just as you think you are listening to a nice slow song, there it is again: the sing-along chorus (I think you have to like it; personally I don’t), shamelessly followed by another more standard song. Hey, at least it’s surprising from time to time!
