SLAYERRRR!!!! Oh, I’m sorry, these are not the legendary Americans, these thrashers are from Holland. But the comparison is not bad, ‘cause these Dutchmen rock! They play some very fine Slayer-inspired thrash metal, and when I say inspired, you can easily read it like practically-written-by-Slayer-but-performed-by-some-really-devoted-thrash-metal-headz. Only the vocalist doesn’t draw his inspiration from Tom Araya, but more from the first singer from Exodus and Pestilence. Furthermore some really Lombardo-like drumming, and of course the essential King/Hanneman guitar-solos, packed in good songs which burst with aggression. | |
Fortunately the high speed is being accentuated by some mid-tempo songs, after which the fast thrash riffs seem to hit even harder. I like this! In fact, I love this kind of well-played, fast and aggressive thrash metal! So far for this review, I’m going to destroy my living room again…
“Uriel, Klesk, Bones, Grunt, wait..” THRRRRASH!!!!!
